A Letter from the final copy of The Student.....

Well, it is almost here! A big step for which we have all worked - the end of the beginning. High school is just the first rung of the ladder in our lives. What lies ahead for us? For some it will be the striving toward a further education; for others, it may be the struggle for success in the vocational field; and for some it may mean the endless hassle to maintain a family. So you see, it is a long path ahead. But wait, not so fast, we are not there yet. We still have a few golden moments left in high school. Don't let these moments slip away without enjoying them to the fullest.

This is the final time we will be known as, "the seniors of MHS". So stop, pause, and think - what have we accomplished? Where have we been? Who have we met? How have we enjoyed ourselves? Take time to look at friends. Do we truly know each other? Slow down, relish each other's company.

This concludes our high school career. We have come a long way, but we have an even longer road ahead. Be happy with whatever you choose to do and be the best possible. Good luck and best wishes to all in the future. So long, and God bless everyone of you.

Sincerely, A proud student of "81"
John Sanders, president of 80-81 Student Council
